It's very difficult to separate these into villains or heroes, so I decided to separate them in to the Zekes and the Federal Forces. I've been collecting cels from Gundam 08th MS Team for months now, and I must say that for a show that ran only 12 episodes, it is packed with great scenes and memorable moments. The characters are so wonderfully developed in such a short time and the story moves very quickly. Cels from this show seem to be popping up quite a bit lately, but one must beware when buying this series that you don't get burned. Here is a list of characters which will help you determine who will be impossible to find, and most expensive when you do find them.

Zekes:

7. Aina Sakhalin- Good shots of her are fairly easy to find. I've seen quite a few on YJ recently. The most desirable shots of her are when she is not in her Zeon flight suit. Shots of her in formal wear tend to be very popular, and may run you in the neighborhood of $75 depending on the shot. A shot of her pregnant is gold, and so far none have surfaced. I've seen one shot of her bathing and it went for WAY too much money. These cels should fetch about $150

6. Norris Packard- Aina's surrogate father in many ways, this is a very cool character. I personally prefer shots of him in formal dress uniform, but I have not seen any yet. Shots of him from episode 10 are very prized, as his dual with Shiro is considered the major turning point of the series. Expect to pay anywhere from $50-$75 depending on the shot.

5. Ghinius- Aina's psychotic brother. It is VERY hard to find good shots of him. So far, I've only seen crude profiles of him. Shots of him with a psychotic glance on his face or in a scene with Aina are highly prized and should fetch over $50.

4. Yuri Kerane- The obnoxious General Kerane. I've seen a few nice shots of him, but they are few and far between. Should run you $45 or so.

3. Zaku Pilots- I haven't seen any cels of the Zaku pilots from episode 8 yet. In fact, finding cels of any Zaku pilot is going to be tough since they are not major players.

2. Newtype Shiro- I've seen two cels of this character so far, that's it. Cels from episode 12 are hard to come by since it was not featured on Cartoon Network.

1. Newtype Kiki- Only one cel of this little bugger exists to date. Much like Shiro, she is pretty cheap if you can find her.

Most Difficult to Find: The Rest of the Newtypes- Michel, Sanders, Karen...they are not turning up in droves yet. I would really like a cel of poor Newtype Aina. These cels should be inexpensive when they do turn up.

Federal Forces:

10. Shiro Amada- Very easy to find cels of him, good cels too. I've seen so many Shiro's that I literally hold off buying them because I know another one will come along soon. The most desirable shots seem to be episode 12 cels, cels of him in combat with Norris and cels of him with Aina. Expect to pay $20-$100 for him. OP or EC cels are in the $150 range.

9. Kiki Logita- Kiki is by far everyone's favorite character to collect from G8MST. However, be prepared to shell out some bucks for her. Nude shots, easily over $125 and up. Shots of her and Shiro, $50 and up. Episode 12 cels of her are very nicely drawn and will fetch about $50 as well. Certain scenes involving her will go for as high as $200.

8. Eledore Masis- Everyone loves Eledore. $40, any shot, easy. Cels of him getting wounded are on many wishlists. I would like to see a cel of him, um, making Karen uncomfortable^_^

7. Michel Ninorich- Cels of Michel have started popping up lately, problem is that most of them are pretty dull. Cels of him with a swolen jaw or in action would be more collectible. $40, tops.

6. Terry Sanders- Most of the shots I've encountered were him in his Mech, which cuts off his body quite a bit. Shots of him in a fight or from his breakthrough in episode 4 are very prized.

5. Karen Joshua- Lots of Mech shots, few other kinds. Shots of her in uniform are rare, as I have only seen one. Shots of her with Sanders or Eledore are very cool, and might fetch a price of $75-$100.

4. Lt. Kojima- No cels of this guy have shown up yet. They should be fairly cheap when they do show up.

3. Jidan Nickard- Cels of this old boozer should be very popular when they turn up. I would love to see a cel of him and Maria turn up, or maybe just a shot of him blushing.

2. Com. Lyer- This first rate jackass is on everyone's hitlist, simply because of his involvement in trying to break up the 08th MS Team from within. A very compelling bad guy in the series.

1. Kiki's Father- Just one shot of him in his wheelchair, that's all I ask!

Most Difficult to find: Miss Maria- A central character in episode 8, she has a cult quality to her, much like the Wizards in Outlaw Star. She really exemplified the villagers in the series who were trying to do right by both sides.

As for other cels from the series, good luck finding decent OP or EC cels. I've only seen one character OP cel, the rest were mechs. The most popular mechs are by far Shiro's EZ-8 and Norris' Gouf Custom. Cels of these two from their battle in episode 10 are very shought after. Good Zaku cels seem to be on the shortlist as well. Karen's RGM-79[G] are runner-up. Cels of guntanks don't seem to pop up too often as well. Another thing you don't see to often are production backgrounds. I've seen maybe three, but that's it.
